A soldier will have to go to fight in the war her mother is most likely worried that if she fell in love with a soldier and he had to leave she d be worried that he d get hurt or die and anxiously waiting for him to return while not knowing how he is doing as communication would be limited and what if he goes missing at the front then she ll forever wonder if he s alive, if he s dead, if he fell in love with someone else and abandoned her and so on <- is what i m assuming

Oh I did answer the right question ok she doesn’t have anything against the family she just seems to want to have complete power over the upcoming emperor and empress is what I’m guessing I don’t fully know I just know she wants power over the first prince to make him a powerful emperor tho she almost broke him mentally so she has no grudge against them she just a old lady that craves power
