I think she's just coming off as pushy. Her insecurities are becoming clear and she's tunneling on her goal without regard for anyone. Which is cool until you realize the other party is a maid and there are tropes at play

I know they're using each other but what if marie is gone and then they cut any contact possible... since she gave the ideas marie had to the prince claiming them as her own due to thus agreement..... wouldn't the people have high expectations for her since she helped solved critical issues? Y'all do know that marie and Rachel came to a agreement that they would use each other to get what they want
so rachel said she will use marie and when Rachel becomes the crown princess she will help marie escape that's honestly is a great ass deal because of who marie is
and Marie also agreed to this deal she wasn't forced or nothing
I also do know that Rachel will become evil later but now she isn't and is just doing exactly what they agreed on
