Is it really possible for someone to suddenly change a person he/she loves??

If ur talking about Lancelot I think he only thought he loved the first Charolette because she was the first person nice to him after he was abandoned. I think the relationship he's building now with new Charolette is much healthier. But I think this story has a lot of mentally unsound ppl tbh
