I may be wrong but I don't think that being "girly" was his problem rather it was the superficiality of the women, people he encountered that made him like that. Like if you focus on what he said when he defended Ichika against their officemates. Hmm.
Both ml and fl said the line, "Really, woman are annoying," right after negatively pointing out 'feminine' (perfume, makeup, jewelery) things. I don't doubt his beliefs on woman wr based off bad experiences, since I couldn't finish this. From the beginning he speaks poorly of feminine woman and highly of this girl who has rejected it the same as him. Both hate on woman, & any bad experiences he may possibly have had with any woman doesn't justify his predjudice. It doesn't make it not misogyny.
Yeah sure, they may be 'superficial'
But dressing up, paying attention to their own looks and flirting with other people doesn't make them any less better than you.
It is very misogynistic if you just put up with that sort of behaviour and pretend to be fine with it but are actually not and bitching behind their backs when you can simply ask them to not flirt with you because you don't like it. It's that simple.
And both fl and ml making broad statements like women are annoying just based on the behaviour of *some* women they know is misogynistic.
Also, ml forcefully stripping fl without her consent, in a public place and in front of another man nonetheless is predatory behaviour that should NEVER be ignored.
This entire series is just a weird, problematic premise and no one, NO ONE should have to deal with this shitty situation.
Reeks of misogyny. There's nothing wrong with being feminine, girly, & hanging around in groups. Not my cup of tea but I'm not judging other people's preference either.
