Look, idk it looks like you started omegaverse with a family themed one and decided that was the rule but not really.
People mostly did fics and little hentai comics around omega's heat. It wasn't official so there wasn't even a theme but back then no one was drawing or writing about babies, it was mostly r18.

Japan then first started with the omegaverse anthologies and I can assure you those stories didn't revolve around babies, they revolved around omega's heat.

It's fine if that's what you like and I'm not dissing that but you speak like you have the facts when you just don't.

You're entitled to your own opinion... You want to think that way go ahead. But respect others opinions as well... Never did i ever say babies are the core.. I said we get to see them in this genre therefore i like it. When i said that without the pregnant part its not going to be any different is coz drunk/drugged/soul mates (similar to the state of being in heat and those red strings attached stories) ... All of this already exist in other mangas.. Being able to have kids along all that makes it more special for me... And i look forward to it. I don't want to see random chibi characters.. I like to see the baby of my fav couples... Because i know them.. I've seen the development in their relationship.. I don't demand it of every manga i read.. Only in OMEGAVERSE coz i know there exists a possibility of it... If the author doesn't want to show it I'm not gonna run after them with a knife in my hand.. I respect their artistic freedom.. But if they do show it you too shouldn't berate them just coz its different from your preference... You're acting like its a crime to show babies in omegaverse. . You read it for heat and soulmates.. Others read it to see what their fav couples babies would look like. To each their own...

I didn't backtrack.. Every time i posted a comment it disappeared for me. I couldn't see them so i made new ones... And they were a tad different from the earlier ones coz as i researched more my thoughts change that's all..... I couldn't even see your new comments so idk even know what you wrote. I get that omegaverse is not all about babies but its a genre where we can expect it so we do... Mpreg is rare too. We all have our preferences. I love omegaverse heat and all.. Babies are a bonus that i look forward to.. They don't have to be in the main story at all.. As an extra would do.. But i still like to see it. I'm not thirsty for it.. I can assure you the only problem i had with your original comment was you said having babies ruined the story... And i didn't feel the same.
