I think he wants the hero's position by defeating/injuring her. But it backfired. We cant really be sure what he was thinking after (if he was really sorry or if it was acting) by seeing his expression cause the illustration doesn't show it properly. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ *Major Confusion
I agree with Yba, he seems like he was trying to get the hero party to kick him out since he couldn't withdraw on his own. Who knows, maybe he wanted out of the adventuring business to live as a carpenter.
Did he want to be in the party? Why did he do all those douche things? Then was thankful for not hurting her or getting kicked out of the party? He is a douche one min and nice the next. Either way he is annoying and I don’t like him
