People keep hatin' on the uke. I disagree with those people. Man likes sex. Man has, perhaps, some Issues (there're always issues). I have no problem with that,(Sex) and don't we all? (issues). I don't blame him for rejecting the seme like that. That kind of immediate hardcore attachment and declaration of love is creepy as hell, and his lack of pride in himself I also find distasteful. The uke, on the other hand, feeds him, takes him in off the street, and gives him a home and a job.Despite having no obligation whatsoever toward this stalker seme. Can't say I would be nearly so decent in a similar situation. Go uke, I say.

I totally agree. They don't understand that some people use sex to hide their pain. But when you live a sheltered life and then read such hard issues, of course they will not like the uke. Life isn't easy and not everyone walks the same road.

I thought the same thing, obviously the uke has got some issues. And yeah he's still helping the seme, but he still could have been nicer about it, maybe not do it while he's obviously going to hear you. All I'm saying is someone who donates to charity wholeheartedly but beats their significant other is still a jerk. (You see what I mean by that?)

I completely see what you mean.(Though I don't think it is the greatest comparison) But *nobody is forcing the seme to stay there*. It's not like he was unaware of the ukes sexual proclivities before this. It's not like the uke lead him on or deceived him in any way whatsoever. It's not like the uke has been anything other than perfectly clear about his position from the very beginning. Why not (at the very least) just take the job and live elsewhere, if it hurts him so much to see/ hear this? Why not give up? The seme has *chosen* to be in/maintain the position he is in, so yea, my sympathy for him is limited.
And yea, uke-san could have been nicer about it; but why should he be? Why should he change his lifestyle and behaviour to accomodate the (unwanted) feelings of a person he has already gone far out of his way to help.
Also, while im sure this situation will change (As is tradition, largely, with this sort of thing, happy endings etc etc) At the moment the uke (apparently)Does Not Want the Semes attentions or attractions: Surely it would be crueler if he behaved in a way that gave the seme false hope??

What choice does Amano have? He was jobless and homeless. Besides his degree and freelance work he no real credentials that would make others in his field hire him.

His senpai offered him both a job (making him his boss) and a place to stay (making him his landlord) and in exchange he agrees to be his servant and in addition to work do things around the apartment.

It's not like he has enough money to move out and if he does his senpai might fire him.

So what real choices does he have?

And I could agree with you if it weren't a few things.

    1) He told Amano to sit and wait, not leave and come back and it seems since that there has been repeated incidents when Amano has heard senpai having sex with other guys. It's a bit cruel that he doesn't even let the guy leave when he knows the kid is in love with him and has been for 11-12 years.

    2) He makes Amano hold his hand before going to sleep. Which implies a special sort of relationship between them. Yet he constantly makes sure to put Amano in his place.

    3) He takes advantage of the servant relationship (and Amano's feelings) to have him do things and is a bit physically abusive mostly because Amano says something that cuts to the quick.

If he really wanted nothing to do with Amano besides offering him a job he could have made the live-in situation as temporary until Amano had enough to move out. He could also have stopped having sex in the place when Amano was there or at least asked him to leave. He could have not told him to be a servant. Not to mention the whole hand holding thing. Or the in the face sexual nature of his business clients (as in Amano sees or hears them having sex).

Instead, it feels like he wants Amano there but in a capacity he can use to his advantage. It's like Amano is special to him but Amano's also a third rail and thus untouchable at the same time. So close but not too close.

That is why I find it's cruel. Because he knows Amano's in love with him and he's taking full advantage of it instead of giving the kid a break and not tormenting him by showing what Amano can't have. He could instead push Amano to address the unrequited love (and how it is creepy and just a crush that won't end) and get over it by giving him a real rejection. Instead he just keeps denying Amano and keeping him around.

Is it strange that I believe bith Le Canard Rouge and akuma_river are right?
People is not completely good nor completely bad.

Yes: the uke has issues, just like everybody
Yes: the immediate hardcore declaration of eternal love and stalking is super creepy and the seme is also king of masochistic...
Yes: the uke still was a good friend, giving the puppy a home, food and a job when he was starving
Yes: he is taking adventage of Amano's feelings, making him even more sentimentally attached with his hold my hand to sleep attitude, and he is hitting him and being a jerk for no reason and
Yes: he could be nicer although he has no obligation to be nicer

I still dislike the uke but its because I don't like the fact that he is sleeping with people to be successful in his job. I mean: he is talented, so he doesn't need to do that to make business... that's not ethical.
And I think sleeping arround so much to avoid facing you issues is pitiful
