Yup that's a potential paradox. But I imagine the author set it up so that you can only travel from or to your own time. So after you've traveled somewhere, you can only return and not keep going I guess?

I guess but it would make alot more sense that everytime you use the portal you.kep going back to either future or past depending on portal. But why figure out logic in manga

Just a thought... but if Beni's mum went into the warehouse travel to the future surely when she jumped down the same place whilst in the future she would go further into the future since even her ancestors used the hole to go to the future. Meaning that Beni's mum shouldn't be able to return to the present through the same hole as it is a hole leading to the FUTURE... at least the hole to the past could be thought to be in another location.
