But also here's are my theories. Some are crack so don't take it too seriously.
1. Silver is the Mc's mother. I don't think they assigned pronouns for Silver and I don't believe they only have that wolf form since it would be so easy to find them. So they must have a humanoid form maybe.
And maybe really BIG VERY LOW CHANCE possibility Silver and Mc's father hooked up and had Mc. But for whatever ever reason Silver "killed" the dad.
We don't know how the dad died. So I until we see it. There could be different narratives of how he "died". So it looks like Silver did " kill" the dad to others but we don't what happened between them.
2. Silver is the Mc's true parent and the Dad kidnapped Mc from them. Since Silver is a horrible person and there's no way they could ever be a good parent.
3. Mc is a clone of Silver
4. Mc is a genetically engineered alien weapon made by Silver or by other species that the AMO arrested.
Again this is a theory, a manga theory.

omg I love your theories! Here's one I came up with that is almost similar to yours: Silver is MC's mother that has a humanoid form aside from the wolf form but the dad had to hide their son because the gov is on the hunt for Silver. The gov knew the dad was hiding something so they also came to look for him but accidentally killed him in the process OR the gov killed the dad for knowing too much OR the dad might have chosen to kill himself to keep the secret (the existence of their son) from being found out (￣∇￣")
anyway I think we can all agree that the gov/agency or whatever it's called (im sorry i forgot) is pretty suspicious atm lol
