This is a huge spoiler
The son of the duchess (ML's brother) isn't actually the duke's biological son he's a child born from duchess's affair. The Duke knew this and that's why he went to a brothel. The ML also know this. The Duke dreeses the ML like a girl or else the duchess will try to kill him so her son can inherit the dukedom . The duchess still don't know the fact the Duke know the truth about her son's birth. The Duke doesn't really care about the ML, he only keep him because the ML is his only blood related son and he's gifted with magic.
