ohhh i thought abt that too. i mean, he didnt seem fazed that his son died and he didnt even try to find out who killed him. maybe he wanted to get rid of him and have a new heir with the fml???
hmmm i think she was rly meant to be brought to "father-in-law". remember when he told grandpa he'd send someone to get her, i think that someone was his son. and there was a dialogue of the son which meant like "i'll have a taste of you before i bring you to father" or smth like that. just a theory tho
