Yup I agree, plus this whole story is basically about how it's not like what's originally written and originally the brother dies so him not dieing in this timeline would be yet another change to the story.

I don't think he'll actually kill him.
He's too gentle. Too much guilt. Either Melissa will wake up enough to stop him or something else will happen. I mean, the dudes powers are out so Yuri is probably free by now.
