If you're so bothered by that, you should try Complex by Manda Ringo. It starts when they're still in elementary school and until they grow old and die. I was avoiding this manga before coz I'm not that into shota but it turned out to be a very pleasant and unique read since it's one of the few (if not, the only) manga of any genre I found that spans 3 generations long.

I wish they would stay with one couple a little longer than this. i feel like the moment we finally see them connect, is the moment we leave them. And it's difficult for me, as a reader to leave characters behind the moment I really connect with them and then move on to someone else. And then the moment I connect with THEM they're gone. I feel like each couple deserve more time
