I don't feel sympathy for kubozuka. He is a groomer.
He manipulated her.
I don't agree, to me, the one who actually manipulated her is her husband. Kubozuka saw how uncomfortable she was and tried to make her feel more at ease in order to make her enjoy this whole situation in which she didn't really had a say in it. Her husband is a real asshole, he forces her into this situation (through emotional pressure), cheated on her and hasn't been respecting her/their rules. I feel like Kubozuka is aware of how much of an asshole her husband is and try to make her forget about him by being closer to her. He has been pretty much honest with her, contrary to her husband (for example, when he said her husband had been calling and seeing his wife). It doesn't feel like grooming to me, I mean, yeah he's definitely trying to be closer to her and gain her trust but I don't think it's to manipulate her, but more like to help her being more self conscious, and actually be aware and accept her own desires, her own feelings, her pleasure and maybe realize how she doesn't need her asshole of a husband
Actually I don't think he tries to make her forget about her husband but more like to make her conscious of his behaviors and do the same (because without him, she wouldn't be aware of what he's doing behind her back).
I commented a while back that they BOTH groomed her.
The doctor was a feeder (he didn't offer any other options, notice, he just had that sly look on his face and recommended the swinger thing).
Then the husband and K acted in tandem to groom and persuade her, even though both saw she was uncomfortable.
Now, K may have actually come to like her, but that's beside the point.
She had several people setting this trap for her.
She has been and still is uncomfortable.
Now that may change. But all along, we've seen how she seems to just be pulled along while she's interior both angry or jealous or guilty, even as there's also pleasure. (Well, hell, an experienced lover should be able to seduce that much)

The only man I feel sympathy for is Kubokuza and he better not secretly be another asshole or else I'm gonna be super mad (he's my only hope for men in this story).
