I don’t think it’s “for fun”. Jihyuk is clearly the bad guy and he’s been malignant from the get go. I feel like the rape scene is going to be important to the development of some narrative within the story. Its HORRIBLE that he gets raped, but maybe the author is doing it for a reason(in future chapters). It may not be like most BL stories where the rape scene is just pushed aside and never addressed
