Do people recongize this is abusive, yes, if this was happening irl we would be saying something completly different. I think the problem is that this is a story that is playing on the stereotypes and tropes. i mean it is a comedy for a reason, but like i think our feelings of how stupid both of the leads were solidified once we saw the mc being like "OMG even tho he beat multiple people up im worried about him" i think crazy deserves crazy and this point. lol just my opinoin.
