Well he hadn't flashed anyone at this point (he was just standing there wearing a coat) so the police can't charge him with anything

Well if you want ppl to change their behaviour for the better, you need to discuss it with them rather than put them in handcuffs (which would only reinforce the wrong behavior bc they'd be mad about getting arrested).

Obviously the policeman's deal with the guy is just bad yaoi logic though lol

Common sense isn't common anymore? I'm pretty sure he knows right from wrong just because he's a college student doesn't exempt him from literal common sense. Its really wasn't the cops problem to sit down and talk with him tbh or attempt to infantilize him, Just because he's a college student. that's just silly. Ik its a manga and im not literally upset about the manga but im just assuming that this response is a reflection of your mindset and yeah...no. no offense.

He didn’t commit any crimes tho, he was just there standing, he didn’t flesh to anyone, also no evidence besides that cop who jumped him and made his coat open. You’re telling me that it’s ok to cuff a 20yo (sorta) cuz he was dumb enough to stand in a coat? He may be a pervert, yes, but he needs help not to be cuffed. If he was an old man, but did the same (just stand there) my answer would be the same. I think it’s better to help change these people before they ruin their lives committing crimes.

Ur being serious about the legality of it and while I'm more concerned about the ethics and morale part about it and I guess thats the difference. And I totally agree sick people need help. But also At LEAST berating if they have sick intentions and I know about it not infantilization and babying. And when I say "took him to jail" then I meant took his actions a bit more serious and not pinky promising him. I know I wouldn't want me or my little sisters ow anyone being subjected to pervercy just because someone is horny :( anyway you don't have to respond.
