All nodeok's works have subtle meanings in the actions and inner thoughts of the characters. The story also focuses on character growth and development. Bet we will not only see yuri, heejoo and sunwoo's backstory, we also will see BIL backstory.....
Sunwoo is a very kind and gentle person (even yuri admit this as he said sunwoo is always on the gentle side). In For Your Love and Form of Sympathy we can see kind is basically his nature. He is not a pushover before, he just likes helping people. He reaching out yuri on previous chapter, telling yuri that he can console him if yuri need it and i think it is not only a form of sympathy, it's based on his kind nature to helping people too, maybe he also tried to help the gay student (i forgot his name) who is transferred. He is struggling and depressed and no one tried to help him, the only one who is worried about him and trying to help him is jungho who is the source of his struggle. Jungho told him to "thinking about me sometimes", the fact sunwoo always thinking about jungho and that makes him depressed is really sad. However even though he is struggling, he never stop helping people. I think in this chapter we can see yuri's hand reaching him, pulling him to his side, is a symbolic meaning that yuri will help sunwoo to get through his struggle. Yuri will also learn kindness from Sunwoo, they both will help each other, then in the end their action as "form of sympathy" will developed to "form of kindness" then "form of love".....
