to be honest, i don't really expect much from this story neither the characters. it doesn't have that "serious" mood like loh, i think this is just supposed to be a fun read else it would end up infuriating for the reader.
ive seen a bunch of people saying yahwi never raped jooin but their first time (if i remember right), jooin is not in the right mind to give any consent. i thought we've already established that consent from a drunk person is a no-no specially that jooin doesn't remember shit at all until much later in the story. not to mention the amount of times jooin said no but yahwi kept on going, he doesn't care for the lack of better words. i don't have a problem with people who likes him but he's just really an asshole for me. he treats jooin like shit knowing jooin would come back to him, hell, even though he knows about how jooin feels for him, he keeps on taking advantage of jooin's feelings then he gets jealous when jooin's with cain like bruh you have no right whatsoever especially that you kept treating him like a sex friend??!! i just don't deal with characters like him, the audacity to be that entitled
also, people justifying yahwi about how his backstory could be oh so tragic but jfc, just because you got hurt doesn't give anyone a free pass to be an asshole yknow sure, you might understand that person but doesn't mean it should be tolerated
i do wish jooin knows how to set his boundaries and be consistent with it, this includes him to cain too. cain is cool with me though he really has to work on with lying just to be close to jooin (IF HE'S GUILTY). im curious how the author will give yahwi redemption to be likable, hopefully they don't antagonize cain just to make yahwi look good or sumn.
based on the author's last story, idk if this would be fantasy ish, cain being a dog, yahwi being a cat and them having the stereotypical "personalities" of those animals, seems probable so let's see. they might even make cain bad who's pretending to be good like their other story but i hope not.
also irl, i don't have a problem with "no means no", but i think there are situations to be considered that the absence of yes means no as well. that yes shouldn't be from coercion and the likes, just a genuine yes from a person.
