I think the reason why this one has more negavtive comments than sayonara alpha, is because here they are basically raised as siblings (not blood related though) while sayonara alpha was just a guy meeting a kid.
That's true. However even tho Nio sees himself as Suou's parent Suou kinda treats him more like a roommate or a very close friend. I still feel like the pacing was too fast tho.
The comments on this seems pretty negative but I don't see any negative comments on sayonara alpha which kinda has the same plot :0 Well tbh I understand that I don't see Nio actually liking Suou as a man tho. He's always thought of him as a son but then suddenly boom he likes him right after he confessed? I feel like it lacked smth... But overall its not a bad story.
