Supposedly! I havent been able to find anything much online, but what I did read was that the author themselves dropped the series...

I was hoping that this would've been all, BUT NOOO JUST HAD TO HAVE A CLIFFHANGER INTO SEASON TWO, WITH A DROPPED SERIES. I wonder why the author dropped it, big sad. This was still good though:)
