Yeah, I think so too. But rather than killing I think he would just keep her locked up, constantly rape her and made her bear his children (which is basically what he's doing now lol in a 'sweeter' POV). I don't think it's love.. it's just lust.
And ig it was just set in the time where women had zero power&privileges and were basically men's property. This story lowkey pisses me off tbh but the smut and art is just too good.
Okay the story is good and all but that sultan sometimes.. scares me. It's good that she's not that much against his actions (? for the manga universe standards) but I feel that if only she told him she hated him and tried to run away he would just kill her if he's not the one to have her. That's sweet untill she's the lamb but if not I'm afraid he won't be so sweet anymore just my opinion
