Rona is a witch. She makes love potions for Angela. When Angela wants to manipulate someone she gives them the potion. Janya was also under the influence the potion in her past life. It can't effect her in this one.
Aahhhhh that explains a lot. I mean the summary made it seems like Janya was in love with Angela. I was like "oh a bi FL I see. That's cool" but nah it was under influence I see.

He's a victim as well. He was under the exact thing that the MC was in her previous life. And did truly love her, and was completely devoted to her before that manipulation. MC realizes this but she basically has PTSD from her past life. MC is immune to it in this life because of the wish, and Angela no longer cares about her fiance in this life because of the second prince, so he unfortunately winds up confused and hurt.
