Well it's not like he knows she's Doug. From his understanding, a wealthy ass man is sponsoring a Baron's daughter for basically nothing in return. Not only that, but "Doug" will just give her 8M without any hidden feelings or intentions. If I was Hades, I would think this guy is sketchy as all heck.
