Here's my take...

I love this story, so don't get me wrong. I just feel like Dylan isn't thinking straight. Think about this for a sec:

The whole reason surrounding why Cedric fell in love with the "heroine" was because he was heartbroken by his beloved Emily's death and he was drinking himself to death. And then the heroine appeared, soothed his heart, and even had a similar appearance to his deceased wife. It wasn't because she was his "fated" partner, even though it was written into the story.

Now that Dylan has taken the place of Emily, the heroine wouldn't look anything like her, so how could Dylan think that the heroine was the "fated" one? There's no purpose for the heroine to interfere because Dylan will not have died, and Cedric would not have been heartbroken and drowning his sorrows in liquor.

I hope Dylan realizes that she was the sole catalyst for the "story" changing. She's so focused letting Cedric find his "true happiness" while ignoring his own feelings. She's probably going to hurt him in this process.

But whatever, I guess we'll see what happens. Like I said, I'm enjoying the story. Dylan's thought processes are just frustrating.

I understand your views as I've thought that as well but in another perspective suddenly falling in love with someone even after suffering from the deaths of loved ones is actually already pretty impractical. In reality, they would all the more try to stay away from affection. As Dylan is more on the practical side, I think she believes that the strength of the predetermined fates of the story characters will prevail. Since the world she's in now is at the fictional world of a book. I don't think she truly realizes just yet that these characters are real people and that they have their own thoughts and feelings. She may care for them but she believes more strongly that the world she's in is from a "book", one where the ending is set. I'm not sure if I'm getting this across hahaha but that is just my opinion. Anyways I could be wrong as well hahahah

u do have a point, however i believe dylan in the book fell in love with adelaine (idk if thats actually her name lol) for who she was. Yes, thats why his attention was brought to her but the way our mc is so pushy about him going to adelaine makes me think that in the book he rly was happy with her. So if they were both in love with eachother in the book, then theres a possibility that love will flow again in the present time. Thats why i rly cant blame our mc for being firm about falling in love (we all know she will be eating her words later on) bc she has no choice atm. if she does let herself fall, anytime of day the real heroine can come knocking at the door and sway the ml out of his feet and shed be left alone.

HOWEVER! its a manhwa, the mc and ml are as firm as dylan's will to survive and protect her sister so obvi, theyll end up together. as they should periodt
