Weakest doesn’t mean she was weak, “in her weakest” is in the weakest moment for herself, you can always be strong but if someday you are sluggish because of fever, even if you are still strong that day will be your weakest. She has never been weak, but her body being full of drugs with her mind being altered and her actions beings easily manipulated because of the drugs, that was HER weakest, and they were ready to let kill her and let her die. Well... not everyone, her magician, the servant boy, he was always by her side, and he continued to loved her and defend her actions even when she imprisoned him and the other dudes killed her (while he was in prison), so I believe he is the only one who truly deserves her love (even if I have kinda a crush for the glasses dude).

They didn't even try to figure out what was wrong. Unless it's some kind of miracle fantasy drug, it's obvious when a person is drugged. You don't go from being sane to acting weird (and looking weird due to a drug) and not raise even a bit of suspicion that something is wrong. They just saw her acting out and immidiatly accepted that as her behaviour changing naturally to evil. Like, what? If my loved one started acting like that, even if they weren't obviously drugged, I would try to find out what is wrong, from illness, drugs to blackmail and other problems. No one acts evil for no reason. There is always something wrong, like trauma, illness, or other people's bad influence.

First of all no one knew she was given drugs, to everyone she just seemed like a crazy empress.
Second it’s a given they will not follow her when she acts like that. A crazy normal person is a danger to themselves and those near but a crazy ruler is a danger to the whole nation.

Well yeah, no one knew about the drugs, because no one bothered to find out what's wrong and acted like going crazy for no reason is normal.

Yeah, great idea, let's mess with the strongest, most powerful psyco in the entire kingdom. I mean, she doesn't give a fuck about her friends and family and will sentence them to death with the same remorse she feels about squishing a bug but why not. Never mind the fact that she didn't bother investigating what was happening around her herself and just let herself be swept away by men, party's and pleasure instead of tending to her responsibilities.

How you expect someone to speak up against the STRONGEST sword master in the empire who could kill you and your entire family just with a raise of her hand?? Not to mention she even imprisoned those close to her so if anyone even tried to investigate they would be jailed. Also the fact they would be shut down by that duke who gave her the drug...Also shes the Empress and there are plenty of ppl who went mad with power. No one wouldve thought about sth like using drugs against the strongest swordsmaster

Who said anything about going against her? There is always secret investigation. Or you know, just act with tact and don't be stupid so you don't anger her? And I sincerely doubt, that she went from sane to completely murderously insane in one dose of drugs. It must have taken quite some time to properly drug her till she lost her mind and manipulate her, so there was plenty of time to notice that something is going on, and investigate, before she got to the point, that looking at her wrong resulted in death.
She didn't immidiatly became this crazy, that's never how it works. And secret investigation can be done, even if she did. They are all elites - I refuse to believe, that they couldn't find a way to figure things out and help her without angering her. They were just ignorant, careless and either they don't give enough fucks about her (however, everything suggests that they do care), or they are simply too stupid to go with logic from "something is wrong with her" to "she needs our help".

She is the strongest so the thought never crossed their mind that she would be drugged. also like i said the duke (who is the strongest noble here) would stop any investigation being carried out. He was smart enough to drug the empress when she had multiple wizards and guards so it’s easy to uncover any and all "secret investigations" if there were any. After she started taking the drug the one closest to her was the Duke and if he knew someone was conducting a secret investigation he would’ve told the empress that the person is disrespecting her in some way or another which means INSTANT DEATH. also the fact she slowly became crazy just makes her seem legit crazy. if it was sudden everyone would wonder why she’s acting like that suddenly. Idk if you know how mental illnesses work but it takes time to fester, you don’t just become mentally ill overnight unless it’s an accident to the brain. So her going crazy slowly isn’t in any way proof of someone drugging her.
