From what I'm seeing its just wishful thinking, he doesn't think that as soon as they get in the bed they'll do the deed but its more like that's what he wants but he doesn't realize it yet.
Yeah I got that at the start but then the wording makes it feel weird I guess but I agree with you though in the next few chapters he kinda does something that made me feel like he stepped a bit out of line

I honestly really like this manga but I don’t think that minjoon is completely stable like he automatically assumes that he will sleep with the dad just because they will share a bed.
I don’t know it just on his part feels like he thinks that him and the dad are dating already but they aren’t yet at that point.
