What’s wrong with straight x straight parings

For me, they do homosexual activity, and always insisting they are straight. It denies LGBTQIA+ representation. It seems very unrealistic for me. For almost years reading yaoi, this is one factor I despise it the most. That is why, one of the classics like Sex Pistol (considered as best by some fujodanshis) is one of my hatest because of straight x straight bullshit pairing (not including the ukes are dumb which irks me also). Well, Saezuru to Nori and Doushtimo Furutakunai by Yoneda Kou are my best yaoi for me so far because there is LGBTQIA+ representation and for me, there is realism. So, that is my reason.

LMAO it's funny when they don't know bisexuals exist too. It really is fucking annoying though when they literally fucking go "I'm not gay but yeah shove your dick up my ass!"

I'd give you the benefit of the doubt if they'd even mention bisexuality. The story line of these characters always feels like they have to be totally straight or totally gay. There's never an in between for them like bisexuality is non-existent. Them not knowing that they're bi yet is the author failing to understand that there's more than one sexuality.

You're missing the context here that it's not about the characters themselves, it's about the authors creating them. Yaoi authors are profiting from appealing to this fantasy of gay sexual activity but without including any actual LGBT people. It's disingenuous, and it's a lazy get out card. They don't have to bother to include authentic gay experiences because these characters aren't gay.

Furthermore, it stops the people reading these works from ever getting a deep understanding of gay experiences or relationships, because the fact that they're GAY doesn't matter, what matters is that they're both men, and that's the only thing that matters.

It's totally unrealistic that these relationships between two straight people exist without the characters really questioning or coming to terms with their identity. They sometimes question the sex itself, but it never goes deeper. This is problematic because it allows homophobic authors and companies to profit from the act of gay sex without properly supporting gay people or gay issues- that's why the trope was created and why it's so common, because Japan is an undeniably homophobic country. There's nothing wrong with liking this trope but people should understand the homophobic reasons behind why it was created.
