Eh I don’t know about being straightforward. His methods are too roundabout and slow for me. I mean he spent all that time “teaching” the MC instead of just telling her straight up from the beginning. He’s as annoying to me as those dudes who speak in riddles instead of being blunt causing everyone to waste time.

I actually love the magician and how straight forward he is .In a lot of other stories they make them super dark and mysterious and when the ml comes in contact with them they barely give any info . This ones nice and whacky and plays a pretty important role tbh even when you don’t see him much
