Logic in yaoi really ain't shit but it could be a phycological thing. Where Thomas sees or hears abt what a family should be. He obviously knew before this he didn't have a mom. So at some point he throws a fit and runs out if the car and someone really pretty is there. So to ensure he has something similar to the books he is reading he makes the MC his "mom". But you honestly never know when.it comes to yaoi
