Assuming that the person to have lost their love is Rebecca having to give up her feelings for Sasha as their era is not open to same sex relationships
While the person that gained love could possibility be Arth marrying Sasha
I could be wrong and just making this deeper than it really is anyways this was just my understanding

Ik she was talking about not being able to become someone important in society on her own cuz she's a woman but I felt she was also giving up on sasha romantically and telling her it'll be a long time before the world accept their relationship so she should not waste her time on her and choose someone she can be with ╥﹏╥
