they technically have a right to do so, since the work belongs to them and we depend on korean raws for unofficial eng scanlations (which means the author's already losing money from the raws being uploaded for free online)
no i get that lmao, i just don’t understand why. like they’re still not gaining money regardless since it’s only in korean and because it’s not translated officially in english so what’s the point. now if there was an english translation that could be bought, i would completely understand. but it’s only in korean..just my opinion.
and don’t misunderstand me, i get the author is losing money and they have a right to be upset. it’s just that this manhwa is only in korean...there’s no money being made from an english audience anyway.
true, i totally get your point as well!! i think it's just the author recognising the worth of their work, like, "i spent time, effort, and energy on this, so i deserve respect and should have the final on if, when, & how i'll release it in other languages" (idk if that made sense )
