ya i agree so much, I understand that she is a duchess but still, these are prejudices that the noble have had for a long time. you cant just go hippity hoppity, now u like tea. and dont forget about the fact that some people just dont like tea.
another thing is the misconceptions about corsets. they are not torture devices. they are just the undergarments of that time. and if your corset is choking or suffocating u, u r wearing it wrong

Literally like I tried to ignore it but it's just too much especially the sweet potato thing just too fast. And your correct about the corset thing at most it'd be a bit uncomfortable after a meal, but not at tea time with just some liquid and snacks.

Lol um ngl the author has a habit of making the duchess way too influential. It should have taken about 3 years for removing corsets at tea time too become common. For manwhas time sake a few months is acceptable. But it appears as if it takes only a few weeks. Unless it's just my misconception
