lying to your lover is not a great dude. dongho is the one who keeps getting hurt. jaehwan needs a little push to stop his nonsense and realize what a treasure he has.
When did he lie?
Jaehwan does know what treasure he have, that's why he "white lied" cuz at that time not telling his lover seemed the best idea, at least for him. (cuz he doesn't want to Dongho to feel hurt or upset) I know its a dumb decision, but in my opinion its understandable, kinda dumb but understandable 100%.
it's very dumb, cos the truth always has a way of getting out and coming back to bite you in the ass. that's not even a little white lie, and if dongho finds out, he'll feel betrayed. it doesn't even matter if nothing happened. i've been through these kind of things before and have also been cheated on. i hate two things that people do: lie and/or cheat. dongho is also a bit insecure, cos of what happened previously, and what it took to get to this point w jaehwan. three c's of a relationship: communication, commitment and compromise.
