here's my thoughts: people like cain because they DONT like yahwi. Basically they just went straight to cain because of how yahwi acted previously. I'll admit I did that too. But now cain is sus, but tbh, if him being sus isn't for a bad thing, then I think he's okay.
Right, I was team Cain and now I’m just like... ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ because a couple chapters back yahwi noticed something and called Cain out for it and Cain acted like he didn’t know what he was talking about. (The chapter when he showed his is) but like you I’m am also on the fence because Cain is lying and Yahwi just sucks as a person right now.
I think yahwi didn't notice anything, because his name was Canis like the wolf. He literally just called him a son of a bitch, that's why Cain ignored him and Join got offended for Cain. Which worked perfectly for Cain as he could have his crush to himself for the day.

it's better than jooin ending up with a shitty rapist lol cain's sus at the moment, but if he doesn't end up being evil and shitty (if he does end up being one tho, jooin's better off alone lol), then he's obviously the better choice. Also, as you said, it's fiction -- it's not too late for the author to write a plot device that helps jooin develop more feelings for cain so you can't really rule out jooin developing romantic feelings for cain like that.
Yes cain is sus at the moment but I don’t think he’d be that bad, I think he lied because he only likes Jooin and wants to be with him. I obviously don’t like Yahwi because of his toxicity, literally what is the sense in asking me that? And that’s the fucking problem with a lot of yaoi, it’s always the toxic shit, seeing a lot of it, does it mean it should be normalized? Ever heard of giving a character/person the benefit of the doubt? I already said that if Cain turned out to be a bad person then he’s no good either, but that doesn’t make Yahwi a more fitting choice. You have weird ass logic, who cares if he glared, that doesn’t automatically make a person bad? It’s a rivalry ffs, yahwi and jooin don’t have a label yet, so really what gives yahwi the right? Also, saying that their feelings are mutual doesn’t make it okay. If your partner was a manipulative and possessive person and you still love them, does it mean it’s right? No.

respect the authors choice to decide where the story goes, and tbh how do you ship cain like he’s SUS.. jooin doesn’t see him as a romantic partner to begin with sheesh he’s liked yawhi from the start and can’t just invalidate those feelings no matter how you feel your attractiveness to cain or you hate what yawhi did.. overall it’s FICTION and all this is angst ridden drama.
