I think he's so stressed and torn between how to make Wolfgang a "proper king" and keeping him to himself. At the end of S1, Shin suggested Wolfgang to find a wife maybe, he himself is hurt about that idea but insists to the the "right thing" for Wolfgang and the kingdom.
Is he okay? He was so in love and now i can feel his suffering through the screen. Did he reallybloose his love?
