I'm not sure if I rushed into reading this story or what, but I had trouble following along at first. I feel like I was supposed to know certain things so I felt lost at times and even had trouble understanding what was being said and who was saying it. At times, I felt like I was jumping in the middle of a series and should have read a prequel, you know? I eventually stopped for a couple months BUT when I came back, I surprisingly got really into it and finished it within the week. I liked the second season and felt like it gave more depth to the characters from the first season.. I loved Ginger and Rum: their love is so pure and comforting. I also REALLY loved Mananan and Monday; just
I feel this. I was drawn in by the stunning art style but I remember dropping it because of how confusing the plot and certain moments were... I always felt like I had missed something crucial. Might give it a reread.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Hopefully you will enjoy it, if you pick it up again. Not gonna lie, you may get lost a few times again, but the relationship development, at least for me, is what kept me going.
