a dog can’t b toxic. he can’t b held to the same moral or ethical standard as humans bc he’s simply not one. he’s possessive & dependent bc that’s what dogs are. he loves his owner & he doesn’t know how else to express it other than display the behaviors he’s learned from the humans he’s been in contact with. the bridge between dog & human is simply too large to gap at this particular moment in time. hopefully the author can work on that in future chapters.
