Ok im not sure i just found this comment a few months ago i dont remember what the exact comment said but like something happened (a fight or somthing) and jinwoo said "if you want to kill my father you’ll have to kill me first"? i dont know something related to that and then his father appears you know some emotional shit went on and his father left again.

I recommend you read the novel. The Japanese arc is so good.... You will fell in love with Beru even more. He is just too funny on how he show his love for jinwoo. But the American arc is my top favorite
i am, i started a few weeks ago since somebody said that the novel explains some events that happened. Im at chp. 24 im too slow like i gotta catch up. Beru is like my favorite out of all the shadows he makes me laughh
Chap 24 noooooo! That's really far back. If you don't mind, I would like to recommend you start reading in chapter 166 it's right before Yuri the Russian hunter gets eaten and the real Japanese arc starts. You can always go back to the beginning. This way you can read ahead of the webtoon updates but still enjoy the webtoon updates since you appreciate what you know from the novel when the updates comes out.
You might be a bit confused because chapter 166 starts with a helicopter ride but that ride gives you some important info
