Lolol for me it is one of those things i tried as a teen and then i had to keep shaving cuz otherwise it was itchy as all hells lmao. nowadays i just trim it slightly, i think most people don't do a full shave. Maybe waxing or smth idk, i don't have the patience for that anymore.

Instead of an actual shave you can use a hair removal lotion like Nair, it doesn't hurt and if it's really hairy it won't do a complete removal so you won't have to worry about everything coming off
i think -most- people do not, but it really depends on the person. i only trim my pubes bc i don't rlly like having a huge bush, so trimming keeps it neat. shaving on the sides is probably good idea if you're gonna wear a swimsuit.
having it shaved i think is a turn off for some ppl bc it makes you look prepubescent, but some ppl do like it so ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌
I personally do it more because I don't really like pubic hair and sometime it just gets kind of annoying in my opinion. It kinda bothersome to shave sometime (especially without my glasses), but since the result is fine to me I don't mind it.
Though, the shaving I do is pretty much only for myself (since my ace ass ain't interested in playing with other people anyway). People shouldn't bother doing it if they don't like doing so
