Tf it ain’t a cultural thing. In yaoi it’s yaoi fiction is fiction and mostly people come for the sex they don’t care if they are related unless that bothers you, it so don’t read it. But in real life actually marrying your cousin has been done everywhere and was very common hundreds of years ago in every country due to deaths rates of aging and dynasties, remaining in power of Royalty, etc. it’s obviously not an thing much more anyone because of genetic issues and just being weird, but people still do it and it’s happened everywhere in the world but obviously isn’t talked about to much because it’s not frequent and the people who do it don’t really publicize it

I think i have worded this wrong lmao but i am aware that this is done because of bloodlines and mainly because of the death rates. But i guess what i meant is that at this day and age, it's been looked down upon because of the genetic issues. Also, what i meant by cultural is that it depends on how deeply ingrained in your culture this is. Where im from, you cant marry your cousin but i am aware that in other countries it is allowed. So that act was somewhat abolished. I guess cultural was not the right word? I dont really know how else to describe it lmao. I only said as such because it wasnt allowed where im from but am aware that it is allowed in other countries

Those are very specific things. Bloodlines could refer to times hundreds or years ago in dynasty’s or royal blood lines which does nothing exist any more. And I know it’s obviously a thing everywhere in the world but yes in this day in age no one associates that with a culture and in fact some would get offended by that thats why I said it’s not really a culture thing and more of where it’s most popular and or is possibly accepted more ig. And in most places it is banned because obviously it’s can cause genetic issues to the child but is seen as weird in most places for obvious and not so obvious reasons which I won’t get into. But yeah you pretty much got what I said
2nd story is good but they're cousins. COUSINS. really put me off
