I personally hope it won't end up in a supposedly love story I wouldn't find it much believable. To be honest, I'd prefer a bad ending without any redemption instead of a "romance" which wouldn't be credible
honestly its so hard to see a happy ending for them as the characters we've read so far but like it's a BL, so there is going to be hella character development, hella tears, hella blood and a happy ending. or exactly what i just said but with a bittersweet ending where like seunghoe dies or smt but they in love uno. there being a sad ending wowuld only satiate some peoples wishes but a happy ending overall makes people happy no matter the previous storyline
yess its so unrealistic for someone as fucked as seungho especially in historical days for them to be able to redeem themselves or wake up from their insanity. a realistic ending would be him accidentally killing nakyum lol
or like even for the angsty bitches like us, happy ending for a while you know kiss kiss yay yay and then seunghoe dies and nakyum lives with mr kim waiting to die to be with his cookoo hubby
Truth is, I've been seeing so many chapters in which Nakyum cried again and again that I don't even feel pity for him anymore I know that he's a victim and all... But pitiful MCs who never fight back and ends up with a Stockholm syndrome tend to really get on my nerves (obviously I'm talking about fiction and not reality, I'm actually a really compassionate person irl lol). So like, I'd prefer him to die than end up with Seunghoe tbh (I don't think he'd be able to be happy alone, I think he'd be kinda lost and miserable the moment he'd be free, so death would be he's only way out). And Seunghoe can keep being the asshole he is, I don't mind. I wouldn't believe in a supposedly redemption after all he has done, so like, at this point I'd prefer him to stay a fucking hot, sadistic, mad, and sad piss of shit I'm really craving for a bad ending, that's the only reason I keep looking at the updates
kinda same. they are both pitiful stupid characters. nakyum is miserable at seunghoes place but the minute he would leave he would be miserable without him (and he had already realised he had no where to go but there) . And seunghoe is the epitome of toxic and doesn't understand how to love properly or how to show it. they're both such miserable characters that the only way this could end is they both die or they stay together and last in their never ending miserableness. and honestly at this point i pity nakyum for like being captured and raped i mean duh. but not for his personality because omg grow some cute lil balls and tell evil sadist daddy seunghoe and wow guess what it'll be fine. honestly id drop this but it was the first manga i read with like killing stalking (i know what a way to start my obession) so like... memories (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I remember watching an interview in which the author said that she liked seeing Nakyum cry and that she would have actually love to make this story even more fucked up with Nakyum bleeding more or something. Like, the author litteraly doesn't feel any pity about him, I think she genuinely enjoys torturing him. So many people were reading this story without liking the abuse but they were waiting for a character development and a happy ending but I'm not really sure it was the author's intention. Like, I think she just wanted to draw something super fucked up, sadistic and hot. But the problem is that this story became super popular from the very first chapter, so now it's kind of complicated because it is after so many chapters in which people got really invested that they eventually realized that they had many expectations but it didn't necessarily match with the author's preferences (which are like, really sadistic lol). But who knows, I may be mistaken
