Honestly I think it's because he kept on thinking he wasn't enough and acting on his own even after knowing that Estelle liked him as is, he still chose to leave Estelle and didn't convey any of his emotions. That's probably the main reason

Ummm...honestly I don't hate Emel, I don't understand why people hate him so much. They both like each other, but thought they had a different meaning behind each other's likes. So why do people hate on him I don't understand
