I know that its an annoying trope but the plot of this story makes up for the uncomfortable parts. Sometimes the rape trope is unnecessary and just disgusting.
It makes me want to skip the parts as fast as possible..its hard to read..

This constant theme of r*pe in manga is getting old.....seriously. I’m just glad to see more people are getting fed up and not just being okay with it like they used to. I understand that this is an old historical manga and there is bound to be some sexual violence ect but it’s not just with this manga in particular it’s just a common theme in bl and it honestly makes it really hard to read.
