like "i love you"....it is obvious why he never felt so much at ease to say....to talk about is innermost feelings openly....because he fears of being abandoned/rejected by shin subconsciously...why?...because ever since, shin was only receptive when it came to sexual stuff....but anything else....he always tried to resist him and clearly draws a line....he obviously shows him..even in bed...that he is a servant and to him he is his master....an ideal master....it is so so absolutely sad actually...bittersweet...i do wonder why shin is the way he is.....we know abit from his childhood trauma, but this seems to have other reasons as well, why he never really truly "saw" the obvious as fuck unconditionally deep love wolfgang has for him...how loyal and devoted he is....he sure does like his role and he wanted to defeat the tyrant and safe people fromt he crap....but his driving reason was shin...shin is his partner...as if set by god or what...he is amazing...he never ever makes anyone doubt about this...only shin cannot see it, because he does not want to...misinterpretating everything he does to that extend it actually makes you wonder...the only thing wolfgang did wrong was to not say the words " i love you" and his open feelings to shin over and over again...and that super "macho" talk he made when he first finally made shin "his"....i mean he was a kid...and shin, he knew, was a young guy who had this ideal king in his eyes, an ideal man and who was himself very sophisticated, a genius and very beautiful in many ways....so why he spoke like that, when he is actually simple at the core, makes sense....though his actions since then prove what he meant with that....shin is very very very worrisome....if it were someone more on the emotional overthinking side than wolfgang, than they would already have been broken by that weird constant distance of shin...they would twist and bend themselves to not lose the person and kept up their hope because they give in to sexual contact and show reactions to them (shin gets red, stares at him etc.).....but yeah....i would have given up way earlier, not able to bear all the cold rejections and the constant drawing of lines and the distance and only sex to connect me somehow to the person and show me a bit of an honest reaction....i would have lost all confidence much earlier and slowly distanced myself until that person understood and we clearly followed th elines predrawn by shin himself......to mend my broken heart and get over my seemingly one sided love and not destroy the business relationship with that person...and shin would just follow with some stumbles at the beginning, but quickly adjust....may be he would realise sooner he loves his majesty, but as we know he will think of it as something bad and presumptious and would keep it for himself and sugget a queen anyway....seriously....people like shin are easy to love but also easy to break your heart that felt all that huge love and leave some considerable scars....even though they don't mean to...but because they are so self absorbed in their own elephant drama, they don't realise how those elephants hurt everyone around while they were living inside their head...hhhhhhhhhhhhhh...i want him to realise all that and than to seriously believe when wolfgang straighforwardly tells him about his feelings....feel regret over all that hurt....try to amend and become a true couple with cute wolfie....gosh....that boy needs some love (wolf and shin)
Wooow you are amazing honey, I can agree with you! 100% since i also have the same thoughts with mixed feelings. If we can see the big picture - I mean see everything from their childhoods - we also can understand why are they behaving this way...KM is an amazing not only the story but the art too.
