well i guess because shirotan's illness is not really a mysophobic but rather a guilty feeling he had because he loves his father, and somewhere along the line Kurose understand that part. that's why he wanted shirotan to accept his preference, at the same time accepting kurose.

I like this story, but for me it's not some fluffy stuff and the seme freaks me out. He's definitely not mentally stable.

Kurose realized himself that he's falling for Shirotani that's why HE DISTANCED himself, RIGHT?!!
But Shirotani was so lost after Kurose stopped contacting him. HE WENT BACK TO ZERO.
In chapter 8, Kurose confessed to Shirotani and told him that the reason he distanced himself was because he was in love with him and he might end up touching him. KUROSE IS ONLY HUMAN. Of course he will want to touch the person he loves!! But since he didn't want to abuse Shirotani's trust, he DISTANCED HIMSELF so Kurose asked Shirotani that even after knowing all of that, like if he stayed by his side and might want to touch him, would Shirotani still want Kurose to stay by his side. SHIROTANI FREAKING SAID HE STILL WANT TO SEE KUROSE!!!
Kurose is trying to push Shirotani out of his comfort zone. And hello??? If we are reading the same manga, you should now that Shirotani gave consent. He positioned himself on Kurose's lap and even took off his pants. And just because he was saying "No" doesn't literally mean he doesn't want it and it's rape already. SHIROTANI IS NOT AS INNOCENT AS YOU THINK!!! And if you read the latest chapters, you will understand the connection. Shirotani's past and the way he is now.
And will we just ignore the fact that Shirotani fingered himself and imagined Kurose fingering him instead? :/
So okay, if all those things didn't happen, will this manga be as popular as it is right now?? Like if you want to be so cute and fluff and they just meet every week to cure his illness, prescribed him medicine, etc.etc., fuck, that would be so boring.
I love Ten Count, I love the story, I love the characters... it's so unique and not the usual yaoi I've read. Heck, they haven't even literally had sex yet??? LET ALONE KISS?? Not the usual yaoi I've read that sex already in the first chapter. This manga has actually a plot!!!
The dark atmosphere and unhealthy relationship between the two is what keeping me read this manga.
And I just find it unfair that people keeps on judging Kurose when you literally know nothing about him? I mean, yeah I know nothing about him too, about his past or whatnot, but I like his mysterious character and I really find him so polite and considerate. If there is something wrong with him, then he should have jumped on Shirotani and took advantage of him when he was asleep? Instead, he rolled him up in sheets (freshly out from the dry cleaner) cause he was thinking that Shirotani might not want to lie down on his bed directly (refers to the Sweet extra) or how he rushed to Shirotani's house when the call suddenly cut off. He even waited 1 hour outside, thinking if he should just come in or not but since he was so worried that something bad might happen to Shirotani, he let himself in (refers to the chapter when Shirotani caught a cold). You know, things like that.
I feel like there is a dark side of him too. For all we know, he might be a victim of something that's why there's like a sadistic side of him too. I trust Takarai Rihito and I am amazed how she does the story so I'm sure in time, she will reveal it one by one.
Okay so I know this might just be my way of looking at things, but honestly the more I read this the more I hate Kurose.
He is a therapist, so how come is ignoring the many red flags that come from Shirotani? The crying the panicking, the constant worry about making HIM dirty. He even cried during sex and said "I'm sorry dad". See they is where any rational person would stop and ask: "Are you okay?" And shirotani is a freaking THERAPISt who knows about Shirotanis illness and even at some point tried to cure him. and yet he keeps going? and then says "I'ts all your fault" THIS IS SO WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS! that is NOT how you help cure someone with obsessive thinking! that is how you make it worse!
I think that Kurose is intentionally making him worse in order to keep their twisted relationship. In order to keep the upper hand. This manga started out cute, but to me it's turned in to a dark, dark psychological one.
