It makes a lot more sense in the novel.... As the character Yu Haiyang or ‘Harrison’ was not ready divorce his wife because it would hurt his mother but begs Fang Jianyaun or ‘Jeremy’ to stay by his side..... And the HIV thing also has way more impact in the novel (also the scrip of the movie is based on the real story of director He’s friend as he states but many readers speculate it’s his own story). Reading the movie’s ending in the novel made me quite emotional cause the story actually felt real.... But yeah that could just be me. You should give the novel a read if you could .. it’s really good!!

TBH the movie had the potential to have a happy ending, I mean their feelings were mutual and yet, the HIV too, I found it quite funny actually, not offending anyone here, I like this manhwa alot but found it a lil egwujshsbsbs but the way 'Harrison' burst into tears hit me ngl
