I think you outlined it in your post, all of this is like "a set of unfortunate circumstances" comedic relief and it's not meant to be taken seriously. Plus the times where Shihyeon seems clumsy he was thinking about the awkwardness of never having dated a man before, I think it throws him off because it's not familiar, true that as an agent you're meant to be professional about that aspect as well, but again I think this is intentional for the comedy aspect and not meant to be seriously dramatic.

Yeah obviously all of this is supposed to make the story entertaining and Candy more of a likeable character, it’s just really unrealistic. It would’ve been nicer if the author went for a more practical way to employ comedic relief. I know in penthouse xxx or some other stories with similar plots that the assassin ukes are more professional, so I was hoping this story could be similar.

Perfectly said, its actually too ridiculous, it's not funny anymore its sad and it's taking away from my enjoyment of this manga, also best agent my butt, im probably a better assassin than him and the extent of my killing experience is squashing flies, also is it me or this boyfriend act doesnt make sense anymore, like why is he doing this again? I forgot, he's obviously more concerned about making his supposedly fake boyfriend happy than actually doing whatever was he was supposed to do

He was supposed to be getting close to him to find the plans for the weapons the cartel wanted. But now that there's a new piece of intelligence in the mix my guess is that Candy will still need to keep an eye on Hajun in case he contacts his father. It's not all glamorous fighting in the spy business ;) in fact I'd say it's more this kind of undercover stuff than combat to be honest.

Ooh seriously? I don’t really feel like candy is doing his job properly anymore. Maybe he is, but it’s not in the scenes of the story. I hope Candy finds some stuff with his job soon. Rn all I see is just Candy falling in love with Hajun. I read the raws and the next few chapters seem to only be some steamy stuff too. I wish there was more of the spy plot involved

I mean... It is a BL manhwa, steamy sex scenes that don't make much sense are to be expected. I could kinda see this stuff coming where he would likely start falling in love and screw up in a major way despite being an SS agent, it seems to be the plot the writer is going for *shrug*. Personally I can't wait for the romance to start, I'm looking forward to some development of FEELINGS, since right now it seems just a convenient sex outlet for Hajun.
I said this a while back but Candy isn’t that good of an agent... I mean for an SS extremely high ranked agent or whatever he’s a horrible actor. He’s also really clumsy. You’d think that someone of his caliber would be smarter too. Also, with that whole first time situation with Hajun, Candy literally could’ve just said he had gotten his heart broken that night, and saw Hajun at the bar, liked his looks, and picked him up. Or Candy could’ve said he was just really sensitive. Or he was actually a top but decided to try bottoming bc he really liked Hajun. Or Candy wanted to top Hajun but Hajun was really forceful about it. There’s so many excuses. Even at the end of this chapter, with the handcuffs. I know it’s comedic relief and all but you’d think that an SS agent would be able to get out of those handcuffs pretty easily.
