When they get in highschool, on their 2nd day of school I hear that Jian Yi disappears with no trace and then comes back 3 years later while Zheng Xi is in college

It’s surprising how many people forget this. High School is gonna be a huge arc. That’s when everything changes and we get some heavy plot (and likely a TON of Zhan and Jian Yi seeing as how the drama is centered around them)
NGL I would be so let down if they’re in HS and Old Xian dropped the original plot she had planned.

I was so sure they were in high school because they seem pretty old to be just in middle school and because of this chapter 48: Jian Ji explains if he works hard in school it's because he wants to go to the same university than Zhan Zheng Xi. So I figured that they were in high school because he worked for the college selection...
But you're right, the large majority of chapters takes place in middle school. Indeed, in Ch.247 a girl asks to Jian Yi which high school he will be going to later on ? So I guess they're still in middle school...
I'm very sorry for my previous message, I was so sure of me... I thought it was stupid to think they could still be in middle school when they all seem grown up and mature (even if sometimes they're really so fucking stupid XD). Sorry again >.<
