no, bc they aren't brothers. The author basically confirmed in one tweet that they are a couple, but they didn't want to put it in the bl genre as people then only focus on that. Also, if you ever watched any movies or read comics, books etc containing vampires, you know that those "families" are never actual blood related families, rather just individuals holding together to make themselves blend into society and also to not be alone

yeah, i know that many people wrote about it here and they do have a weird kind of companion relationship like maybe the "brothers" in pathos do just not as sexual. It's very much based on the fact that they have only each other through all these long years. It does seem platonic, but like you never know as there is no focus in the story that would explain their relationship a little more, but the other did mention them as a couple, so.
